About Us
Introducing Teresa Hooper, manager and tutor of the Rolleston Centre on behalf of Alastair and Sheelagh Wood. Rolleston is a rapidly developing satellite town about 22 km south of central Christchurch. The Rolleston Centre is run in one of the rooms of my home, which uses a separate entrance. I qualified as a primary teacher in South Africa and then completed a Batchelor of Education Degree in New Zealand in 2000. |

I have many years experience teaching regular classes as well as teaching small groups of children needing extra help.
I get great satisfaction from working with smaller groups of children, so when the opportunity arose to tutor with Kip McGrath in 2004, I could not refuse. I really enjoy the reward of being a Kip McGrath tutor, it is even better that I thought it would be! I tutor students from Yr 1 through to Yr 11.
My interests are gardening, walking and church activities.
What We Do
At the Rolleston Centre my aim is to enable children to gain confidence, foster the love of learning and experience success.
