“Out of all the activities that I have done, tutoring the Kip McGrath programme has been the most rewarding. The ability to empower children and encourage them to succeed with self- confidence and enjoyment is very fulfilling for me. I am proud of the Tutors. They are very dedicated and have great empathy and rapport with their students. We take students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The students are encouraged to work hard at their level of achievement, and we reward those who make small, as well as large steps of progress.”

What Our Students and Parents Say About Us
Alex of Whareama
“Kip McGrath has helped me immensely. I feel that I would have really struggled with NCEA English last year and again this year if I hadn't stuck with Kip McGrath. I passed all the papers that I sat last year and this year I've easily passed my internals. I am also confident with my external NCEA English papers. Without a doubt I would have struggled, and most likely have failed, without the tuition.”
Alex
Sam and Thomas of Featherston
“Our boys love going to Kip McGrath each week. Their confidence and work habits have improved dramatically. They are working much faster and enjoy the challenges each week. The small, quiet work environment is ideal for the boys. They are able to focus on the tasks required and get great satisfaction on completing their work.”

Steven of Masterton
“Prior to being diagnosed with Irlen Syndrome, through Kip McGrath, Steven had thought that everyone saw words jumping all over the page like he did. Special tinted glasses organised through Kip McGrath put an end to this problem, as well as the huge frustration that Steven previously experienced as he struggled to cope. Steven is far more confident now and enjoys learning at school while being supported by extra tuition at Kip McGrath.”
