The Centre was opened in 1998 in a peaceful, rural, garden setting.  Jean Wotton is the Director.  She is a qualified trained primary school teacher, and a certified Irlen screener (identifying reading and perceptual difficulties.)  She has done SPELD training and teaching.

  • To provide assistance and support to enable each student to reach their potential.
  • To help students develop effective learning skills and knowledge.
  • To enable every student feels confident and successful.

What We Do

WE PROVIDE:
  • A free initial assessment.
  • An individual program based on the results of that assessment.
  • Tutoring for students from year 1 to year 10.
  • Sessions that are 80 minutes long.
  • A variety of six interesting activites each session.
  • English subjects - reading, spelling, comprehension, and writing skills.
  • Basic facts, maths, and numeracy topics.
  • Computers for each child, using programs developed using the latest educational technology.
  • Worksheets, books, tapes, tutor system material, circuit boards, and other multi-media material.
  • Homework based on skills taught at the Centre, is set and marked.
