About Us
The Manurewa Centre was the first Kip McGrath Education Centre to open in New Zealand. Over the years, the Centre has provided valuable tuition service to our students, and it has become recognized as a valued service provider in the area.
The Manurewa Centre is proudly owned by Kay and Jay Moodly; they have, between themselves, over 50 years of experience in education, as teachers and tutors, as education managers and consultants. Jay has expertise and experience in Early Childhood and Primary Education, and Kay has experience in primary and secondary education specialising in Maths and English. Between the two, they cover the range of educational expertise from early childhood to secondary school education.
Our Educational Team
The Manurewa Kip McGrath Education Centre has a dedicated team of qualified and experienced tutors who approach their task of tutoring with two objectives in mind: enhancing students’ skill, and, increasing students’ confidence in their own ability. Our tutors are highly successful at the task because they encourage students to take risks at learning, they support students towards success, and they motivate students to extend themselves in a safe, friendly and supportive atmosphere. It is because of our tutors and our highly effective programmes that students enjoy coming to our centre. Whether for students who are experiencing difficulties, or whether for students wanting to be extended, we design programmes to the individual needs of our students.
