About Us
Introducing Sheelagh & Alastair WoodWe have been running the Leeston Centre (located 40 km SE of Christchurch) since 2002. Leeston is a rural area with cropping, dairying and sheep farming. It is close to Southbridge, Dunsandel, Doyleston and Irwell. Both of us have vast experience in Primary and Secondary teaching, although we trained as Primary Teachers. We enjoy the outdoors, gardening, cycling, reading, walking the dog, travelling and church activities. We have recently taken up a new hobby of geocaching. |

What We Do
Our centre is situated on our home property, in a building specially converted for Kip McGrath.
At our centre we specialise in teaching ESOL and children with Specific Learning Disabilities.
Our aim is to foster a love of learning and to build confidence in each child or student whom we teach.
