About Us
Welcome to the Howick web page! I’m Jonathan and my wife Dianne and I love teaching students of all ages and seeing the difference that success in education brings to their lives!
Dianne is a primary teacher and is the Director of the Howick Centre while I am a secondary trained teacher.
As you can see we have 3 wonderful children – Daniel (currently doing a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at Bristol University in the UK), Joannah (year 11) and Joshua (Year 10). All our kids have loved being a part of Kip McGrath since we opened our first Kip centre in Kilbirnie, Wellington in 1996. We spent 3 years in London from 2003 working at the South Woodford Kip McGrath Centre and also did heaps of traveling as a family (which we would definitely recommend!) |

Our Education Team
We believe that all our students deserve a well-qualified and positive teacher who knows the curriculum and the appropriate levels. All our tutors are talented teachers who build a close personal rapport with their students. We invite all parents and caregivers to be a part of our students’ success by maintaining a close relationship with their tutor and getting weekly feedback. Improved school results and increasing confidence are the two key components that we look for in every Kip McGrath student. With a dedicated teacher and loads of support and encouragement, every Kip McGrath student can experience success.
