About Us
Our Hastings Tutoring Centre has been successfully providing after school Maths and English tuition to children who need support with their schoolwork since 1994. Those 14 years have seen the Centre establish a reputation in the local area for providing ‘excellent tutoring’.
The centre is conveniently located on Eastbourne St in the middle of Hastings.
The centre has seven teaching areas and has a friendly, bright and welcoming feel, which encourages all our students to feel relaxed, motivated and ready to learn!
With over 30 years experience in education between them, Mark and Yvonne’s first-hand experience helps them recognize each child’s individual learning needs and ultimately helps their students thrive.
Our Educational Team
Mark and Yvonne have built up a team of excellent teachers within the centre, and it now enjoys recognition for its caring approach to all of our families. All the teachers are hand-picked, well experienced and qualified in Primary or Secondary Education in New Zealand. Support is given to all students- from those needing extra maths and English tutoring to students waiting to push themselves a little harder with our Extension Programme.
