The Dannevirke Kip McGrath Education Centre has been providing professional after school tuition for nine years. Tararua REAP owns and operates the Centre which is located at REAP House, 15 Gordon Street, Dannevirke.

Our Teaching Philosophy
We know that not every child thrives at school. Some experience difficulty in keeping up with the work and their peers. Subsequently they lack confidence and self-esteem. We treat children with respect and our individualized programmes help these children overcome their learning difficulties. The Dannevirke Kip McGrath Centre provides a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes self-esteem, boosts confidence, and helps children achieve their personal best.
What We Do
The Dannevirke Kip McGrath Centre caters for both primary and secondary school age children. We also offer pre-entry tuition for both Police and Army entrance exams. Adults who wish to upskill in either literacy or numeracy are also catered for.
All Kip McGrath Centres use a tutorial system based on a series of computer programmes, integrated with structured worksheets and textbooks. We are passionate about either extending or helping students overcome problems in Maths, Spelling, Reading and Writing. Students follow individualised learning programmes.
